From its beginnings Payen has been the go-to partner for producers of tights, as it combines delicacy and durability.

In knitwear, Payen also has a strong presence in circular, linear and seamless knitting. The applications are mainly technical and high-performance, for which plaited elastane cannot be used.

In weaving, Payen’s industrial capacity and know-how enable it to produce reels of yarn of over 3 kilograms, a major advantage for both warp yarn and weft yarn. Because the tinctorial affinity of yarns is controlled, the homogeneity of warp yarn is guaranteed.
